Tourism and the local economy
We would like to welcome your news and opinion on the subject of tourism and tourism development in the Huntly area.
The Aberdeenshire Towns Partnership together with Huntly and District Tourist Action Group have invited The Stevens View Partnership to review how best to develop the local economy based upon growing the appeal of the area for day trips and overnight stays.
Tourists and day visitors already make a significant contribution to the local economy supporting and creating jobs and injecting money into the local economy.
But how can we take advantage of the increasing demand to visit interesting, different and attractive destinations.
In order to help us appreciate the potential of the Huntly area we welcome your comments and views on the tourism potential of the area.
Consequently, we encourage you to answer the following questions by 18th April 2008.
Answers will be treated in confidence but importantly will help inform the thinking about how best to develop the area’s tourism potential.
Thank you for your support and participation.
