Huntly 2009 Calendar

2009 Calendars featuring scenes from in and around Huntly are being sold to raise funds for Huntly's Christmas Lights Appeal.

Chairperson of the fundraiser MargaretWilds and the two members of the group, Brian Morris and Wilma Duffus are thrilled with the calendars.

One thousand copies have been produced and it is hoped that local people will buy them to send to family and friends all over the world.

The calendars cost 5 each; they are printed on glossy paper and contain space to write in appointments and reminders. They also come with an envelope so that they are ready to post.

Keen local amateur photographer Kevin McIntosh took most of the photographs showing Huntly and its main features and landmarks throughout the seasons.

Each month has been sponsored by a local business to help meet the cost of production and so that as much as possible from the sale of the calendars can be used to buy new festive lights for the town.

The calendar design is by Finks Publishing in Glass.

You can purchase the calendars for 5 each from The Coffee House, Deveron Taxis and The Strathbogie Bakery. They will also be on sale in the Town Square during the Huntly Hairst and at The Farmers Market.

Calendars can also be purchased by sending a cheque or postal order made payable to Huntly Christmas Lights Appeal including postage costs of 78p first class or 66p second class to:
