Huntly Football Club (HFC)

 The club was founded in 1928. The club’s home is Christie Park with an 1800 capacity, 270 seated. The team strip is black and gold stripes. The club logo bears a stag’s antlers derived from the cap badge of the Gordon Highlanders. HFC plays in the Highland League, Britain’s most northerly senior football championship and the Aberdeenshire League. In recent years it has maintained a position near the top of league tables. At 2007 the Club has won the Highland League seven times (5 times in a row in the 1990s), the Highland League Cup five times, and the Aberdeenshire Cup seven times. The team is a regular contender for the Scottish Cup. The club runs several youth teams. The ground is open only on match days.
