Huntly Cricket Club has played on Castle Park since 1854. It competes in the Strathmore Union for clubs between Huntly and Dundee. The club engages a professional player/coach each season.

Huntly Rugby Football Club has a long standing reputation in Scottish amateur rugby. The club plays on the Market Muir. Scottish Rugby Union qualified coaches run a programme for young enthusiasts at all levels.

Personal health, keep fit and well-being classes have become an increasing part of Huntly life. Badminton has for years been a popular keep fit regime for the winter months. But today two different types of Yoga classes are available in the town. Pilates has now been introduced and Tai Chi classes have become available.
